I’m only going to tell you once, you know,
To put you in the condition to listen as the words flow,
This valuable information is only going to come in one spurt,
So, you better keep your ear on fill alert,
Alas, as the noisy-o-sphere gets noisier still,
Repetition increases the chance that I will be heard
But it just wouldn’t fit the bill,
For the annoyance that would be incurred,
This is the risk that comes on all faces,
In many ways, the mantra of permission conflicts with the mechanics of my frequent graces,
So I will say it in one fail swoop,
As I send it to all in my social group,
I want you to know without a doubt,
That you are my friend day in and day out,
Tell all you know about me write out,
You, my readers and friends are the reason I go all out.
In honor of my neighbors and poetry month.. Thank you for stopping in and reading my pen my dearest neighbors and loyal readers.

There are no words ever written to thank someone for your life... But here is a poem of thanks for A Nurse. Most patients in ICU may not remember their stay in the unit at the hospital or remember the names of the nurses that cared for them in their time of great need. So in honor of them for my second poem this month I give thanks. Please share this with your nurse friends. Enjoy.
It is National Poetry month in April... In 1996, the Academy of American Poets founded National Poetry Month
