I close my eyes,
And see the white light,
Coming into sight,
Surrounded by a purple hue,
For my closed eyes to view,
But it is devoured by the darkness,
Creeping in like a harshness,
Like hands in the dark reaching out to cover the light,
The only view in my sight,
I wake screaming with all my might,
"I CAN'T SEE THE LIGHT!!!"
Hands Grab me from the darkness beyond,
OPEN YOU EYES MY DEAR AND YOU WILL SEE THE BRIGHT,
Of the light,
And the first thing I see as I open my eyes is your smile to my delight.
For you never loss the light,
For with forgiveness there is always the wisdom of sight.
