It seems very strange to so many, you know.
That we love our bulldog so…
As they gaze at the wrinkled up face
That I just want to embrace,
Always shuffling around with that never-ending grunt and teethe grin!
You could say we are kin,
The massive broad shoulders and little fat feet,
Reminds me of a policeman walking his beat,
Others may gasp at the sight of the jowls and some even shriek,
Especially when still eating a doggy treat of meat,
I can't speak for all, but I'll say what I know.
That we love our bulldog so….
And why does our love continue to grow?
It is very simple you know,
And oh, so easy to show,
From the short stumpy tail to the wrinkled-up nose,
They’re sensitive little ones, just dressed in dog's
clothes.
